SHELTER, INC.

Shelter, Inc. is dedicated to working within the Northwest Suburbs to create public awareness and provide community education concerning child abuse, neglect and other social problems directly impacting children and their families.

Our Community Education Coordinator interacts with all segments of the community including schools, PTA's, social workers, youth agencies, senior centers, corporations and churches to address issues of child abuse and to provide program information, parent and professional presentations and referral sources.

Continuing Education Seminars:

Shelter, Inc. provides multiple education seminars throughout the year that are designed for:

• Social Workers
• Counselors
• School personnel
• Medical personnel
• Police Officers
• Parents
• Concerned citizens

Continuing education credits are offered for licensed social workers and counselors.
