A local quilting group, Quilts for Others, donated 23 hand-sewn fleece blankets to be used by our group homes and programs to bring comfort and warmth to the children we serve. There were styles for boys, girls and babies and each was made with a needy child in mind.
Quilts for Others now plans to make handmade quilts for the beds in the boy’s and girl’s homes and we greatly appreciate their support of Shelter and our programs!
