Thank you to everyone who supported and attended our Charity Ball last week in the pearl-studded ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Schaumburg, Chicago. Everyone enjoyed the displays of photos from 30 years of charity balls, bidding on silent auction items, dancing, and a sumptuous gourmet meal prepared by the Hyatt’s own Chef John Junior.
The new videos profiling Shelter’s programs captured the true meaning of the event more than words alone could express! We would like to thank Killian Branding, Imagineering Studios and Regina Waldroup for their hard work and dedication to this project.
This year’s recipient of the Buckholz award is Heinz Kern, a former General Manager of the Hyatt Regency in Schaumburg whose vision 30 years ago initiated the Charity Ball. Heinz and his wife Mary Ann Rose of Tamar Productions, Inc. have supported Shelter in countless ways ever since.
