Hair Cuttery kicks off the 18th year of its Share-A-Haircut Charitable Giving Campaign. The Share-A-Haircut program launched in 1999 to engage with neighbors in salon communities by providing haircuts to those in need. The program’s concept is a one-for-one donation allowing clients to directly support someone less fortunate.

On February 6th and 7th Hair Cuttery locations nationwide will participate in the annual Share-A-Haircut program. Every time a haircut is purchased, a free haircut certificate will be donated to a local nonprofit organization. This February alone, Hair Cuttery hopes to reach thousands of homeless people in the neighborhoods it serves. Shelter, Inc., has been a partner in this event since it started and has used the certificates to offer free haircuts to the children and families we serve. Shelter provides a wide range of services for children and adolescents who are abused, neglected, dependent or in need of supervision.

As of November 2016, Hair Cuttery has donated 2.01 million free haircut certificates, valued at approximately $33 million, to those in need. Every haircut provided on these days means a free haircut for someone in need, so stop by Hair Cuttery on February 6th or 7th and support the work of Shelter, Inc.!
