Shelter is excited to have Sintelle Scott as a welcome addition to the night staff, working part-time at our Jennings Girls’ Home. She is a native Chicagoan, with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and is looking forward to earning her master’s degree in social services, saying “I want to support kids with real-world knowledge,” and that working with children and what they have gone through is the best way to learn how to help them.” Sintelle is no stranger to working with children and sharing her talents to help others. During the day, she works in community engagement for the Girls Scouts who offer free programming for under-resourced girls. In her spare time, Sintelle is an avid reader, and enjoys the two cats with disabilities she rescued from an animal shelter.
