Motorcycle Run

Shelter, Inc. is excited to announce a brand new event...  2010 Shelter-A-Child Motorcycle Run

Save the Date, then grab your gear, grab your friends, rev those engines and head out to City Limits Harley Davidson in Palatine, IL or JJ Twigs in Wauconda, IL on August 28, 2010 for a scenic run through Northern Illinois, food, prizes, raffles, live entertainment and more... all for an amazing cause!

All funds raised will benefit Shelter, Inc.'s programs and services for abused and neglected children and adolescents.

Event details:

2 Registration/Start Locations:

  • 9:30 am at City Limits Harley Davidson, 2200 N. Rand Road, Palatine
  • 10:00 am at JJ Twigs, 1200 N. Main Street, Wauconda

First bike out (from JJ Twigs) at 11:00 am

Post Run Celebration 1:00 - 4:00 pm

Registration fees:

  • Rider - $20
  • Passenger - $15
  • Celebration Party Only - $15

Registration fees include donuts and coffee before the run, lunch, drinks and entertainment at the Post Run Celebration.
