On Tuesday, March 14th, Friends of Shelter will be hosting a “Cooking with Class” event. We are entering our 8th year for this event which draws approximately 100 people to the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Schaumburg. We invite you to join us!
During this evening of culinary delight, Executive Chef, John Junior, will conduct an interactive cooking demonstration and will treat participants to a 4-course meal paired with (unlimited) wine. The Chef will share his personal recipes with participants and provide copies of the recipes to take home.
The Friends of Shelter will have a silent auction and raffle to benefit the programs and services provided by Shelter, Inc. Shelter is a nonprofit child welfare agency that helps and protects abused and neglected children and adolescents by providing foster care, emergency and longer-term group home services in a safe and caring environment.
