Do you enjoy the outdoors early on a weekend morning? Would you like to help raise funds for Shelter programs? We’re looking for volunteers for two upcoming 5K runs to help with registration, out on the course, and at the finish line.
The first is Shelter, Inc.’s 5K Run/Walk for Kidz on Saturday, April 29th. This is a family-friendly event (including dogs) with kids’ activities, a bouncy house and kid’s dash. There is ample parking and restrooms available. More information is available on the event information page.
The second is the Run for Sam (as in Sam Adams) on Sunday, May 28th. This is an event that serves beer to the runners after the race. We need a few people to help with registration and along the course. More information is at itsyourrace.com.
