Shelter is very excited to welcome our new Accounting Manager, Lisa Geirlach, who adds even more sunshine to our administrative offices.
Lisa was born and raised in the Chicago area, before moving to Michigan. Her education has been diverse, first earning her BA in Business and Accounting, then her MA in Theology. Her business experience has included both development and management positions.
Moving back to the Chicago area, Lisa was looking for a non-profit home where she could make a positive impact on people’s lives. She said she is “…so very pleased with her choice” to come to Shelter, and we are so lucky to have her!
Lisa is excited about designing and implementing new organizational and protocol improvements and mastering Shelter’s new database.
When not contributing her many talents to Shelter, she is busy with her four children and three-year-old grandson.
