Since 1975, Shelter Youth and Family Services has been a lifeline for children and families in crisis or suffering from trauma. Your contribution ensures that Shelter can continue to provide safe and nurturing spaces for children in Chicago’s northwest suburbs, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. No donation is too small and your generosity will be greatly appreciated by the children and families who need it most.
Honor or memorialize a special person in your life
These gifts can be processed via our Donate option or mailed in using our downloadable Tribute Gift Donation Form. Notification of these gifts take approximately two weeks to process and send.

Shelter seeks adult volunteers with a variety of skill sets and areas of expertise. Our needs fluctuate throughout the year, as well as year to year, however, we always appreciate your time and willingness to serve!
Opportunities may include assistance at Shelter special events, participating in community events, fundraising opportunities, serving on committees, and more. Your support helps Shelter’s mission and vision continue and provides a lifeline to the youth and families in our community.
